研究生 Assistantships

We strive to ensure that our graduate students are able to afford continued education. 的 helpful staff at LR are here to provide financial aid information, flexible payment plans and other options to help you achieve your most ambitious goals.

A graduate assistant (GA) is part-time position (no more than 20 hours of work per week), that provides employment experience and the benefit of partial-tuition remission. 在大多数, but not all cases, 15 free credit hours of tuition are provided to the GA for the duration of the position appointment period, which is typically August 1-July 31.

Please Note: You must be enrolled as a graduate student at Lenoir-Rhyne to apply for a GA position. All of the following GA positions are offered on the Hickory campus unless otherwise noted.

A limited number of graduate assistantships (GAs) are available for eligible students.

To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:

  • 学生 must be accepted into a graduate program
  • 学生 must have a current resume and/or GA application on file with 的 研究生 School
  • 学生 must not be receiving any additional institutional aid (including athletic scholarships)
  • 学生 cannot hold another working position on campus

的 awarding of a GA position is NOT need-based. It is a highly competitive process based on the positions available in a given academic year and the skills that a GA area's supervisor values. An area supervisor selects GA candidates.
